The Albion College Whitehouse Nature Center plays an important role in the classroom instruction and research of students and faculty at Albion College. In addition, its facilities and services are available to area schools and communities. The Whitehouse Nature Center is located one quarter mile southeast of the Albion College main campus, on the East Branch of the Kalamazoo River at the end of the College athletic field. The Center's 135 acres are open to the public from dawn to dusk all year round, seven days a week. The Interpretive Building is open from 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
