We are a grassroots organization founded by Richard and Elverta Weatherford in 1985, dedicated to beautifying Albion by planting flowers along the entrances and business loop of Albion. This is accomplished by raising funds with the annual Men Who Cook fundraiser and having community volunteers plant and maintain the flowers during the summer season. The Weatherford Garden is also maintained along with permanent flower planters in the downtown business district.

Forks Senior Center a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit offers a gathering place for adults over 50 years of age who reside in Albion, Homer, Springport, Marshall, and surrounding communities. Yearly membership of $75 includes use of a fully equipped fitness center. A comprehensive health and wellness program offers daily exercise classes, twice weekly ping pong games, monthly presentations on topics ranging from health to legal issues, a diabetes support group, and individual foot care clinics.
 
Bunco, Euchre, Bingo, a cooking club and knitting & crochet guild are planned weekly. Field trips allow members and non-members to enjoy area theatre, shopping, and museum outings together.
 
Hours are: Monday 8 AM - 4 PM Tuesday 8 AM - 7 PM Wednesday 8 AM - 7 PM Thursday 8 AM - 7 PM Friday 8 AM - Noon Saturday 9 AM - Noon Call for program information and volunteer opportunities. Nominal fees may apply to certain activities.
